Okay, fixed the stylesheet again. And hopefully, thanks to some assistance from Frumph.net, it’ll stay fixed for a while this time.
Bad news … Suburban Jungle needs the same treatment. But that can wait for now.

For some reason, every time Comicpress updates, it hoses NeverNever and I have to redo the stylesheet. It doesn’t mess up Suburban Jungle, which is running on exactly the same engine. Go fig!
Sorry about the site scrambling. I’ll fix this when I have a few minutes.
IN HAPPIER NEWS…
Sue and I have started weekly Skype meetings to make status reports to each other, and she’s been sending me more pencils. We’re starting to get into the big finish of the Widow Shins story line, so we’re not that far from ink, at which point they will start *gasp* actually appearing on the page!
(We’re trying to build up a decent backlog before we start posting again.)
At this stage, it’s looking like somewhere around late September/early October for the story to pick up again. When we have a more definite date nailed down, I’ll post it here.
But first … gotta fix the (muttergrumble) CSS again…

The new version of ComicPress tossed out some settings and a lot of the stylesheet customization I had done; I’ve got most of it back in place now … at least until another update comes along. Oy!
Sorry ’bout that!

Something seems to have hosed the styles and settings for the site. I’m investigating this now and will see if I can figure out what the problem is — and how to fix it.

And what’s the news? Well first off, I can finally go ahead and announce that the “new” artist for NeverNever is in fact the returning Sue Rankin, who took me around to her studio while I was out in California and let me get a peek at what she’s got cooking there (and the NN storyboards taped to the wall near her drawing table).
I have a feeling it’s going to be a great year.

I figured that a new site rated a new banner! It’s been a long time since I tried my hand at drawing the NN cast, but I’m quite pleased with how Mopsy and the ol’ Black Knight made out … I think this may be one of the few times where my mental vision of the characters, and what actually came out of my pen, were reasonably close to each other!
The site design is coming along nicely, as well. I still want to do something about those “liquid metal/Web 2.0″ bars, buttons and things that are still floating around the site, but that’s a lower priority. I think the next step is to fill in all those “Under Construction” pieces on the cast bio and about the strip pages.
Got any requests? I’m all ears!

We’re still getting set up here, as you can see. The look and feel of the website needs to be brought back to something that says “NeverNever,” and stuff like the Cast and Artist Bio pages still need building. But before I do any of that, I’m making a point of going through and tagging each strip with its associated artist (Credit where credit is due!).
If you read my LiveJournal, you know that we’ve got scripts through the end of this current storyline, so now we’re just working on getting ‘em all drawn up. Also, the very last copies of the original edition of Childproof the Unicorns are sitting here on my desk and I keep them around for reference. Which means NN is temporarily out of print.
But fear not! A new, larger-format edition of Childproof is in the works, hopefully to be shortly followed up with the first new book in, well, a decade, Attack of the War-Cats, which will contain the rest of the run up to the conclusion of this storyline. Those will be in print sometime later this year. My goal is summer (Dragon*Con at the latest), but until I have more of the nitty-gritty worked out, I can’t make any promises yet.
See you soon!

NeverNever is undergoing some pretty hefty revision. Please come back soon!
